First Time Snorkeling For Non Swimmers With Photos in Wailea Beach

From$149

Enjoy Snorkeling in Maui with an Expert Guide

Our non-swimmer snorkeling tour in Maui is designed for all comfort and ability levels. Led by experienced local guides, this calm, fully guided experience takes place at one of the best snorkeling locations in Maui, Hawaii, where guests often encounter colorful reef life and Hawaiian green sea turtles.

Prepping Non-Swimmers for Snorkeling in Maui

Your snorkeling experience begins right on the beach, where you’ll meet Triston, a Maui-born guide who brings the spirit of aloha to every tour. Before entering deeper water, you’ll spend time in shallow conditions wearing a life jacket, learning how to use your mask, fins, and snorkel.

You’ll receive calm, one-on-one instruction so you feel relaxed and confident — no swimming experience required.

Heading into the Water

Once you’re comfortable breathing through your snorkel and floating on the surface, your guide will paddle you out on a giant 15-foot inflatable surfboard toward the coral reef at Wailea Point. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about Hawaiian culture and the surrounding marine environment.

At the snorkeling spot, you can choose to relax on the board or enter the water at your own pace while your guide stays close. The surfboard comfortably supports families and small groups, making this one of the best snorkeling tours in Maui for non-swimmers.

Why This Location?

Wailea Beach is a peaceful location and is walking distance from the Grand Wailea Hotel, Four Seasons, Fairmont, and Andaz.
