Do I need to know how to swim?
No, you don’t need to know how to swim. Our tour is designed for non-swimmers and first-timers. We provide life jackets, a floating paddleboard to hold onto, and one-on-one guidance.
What if I panic in the water?
Your guide stays right by your side the entire time. We move at your pace, with floats to hold onto. Many first-timers arrive nervous but leave confident and smiling.
Is this tour safe for children and kūpuna (elders)?
Yes, the age range is 5 to 80 years old. Wailea Beach is calm and shallow, making it safe for keiki (children) and kūpuna (elders).
What equipment is included?
We provide sanitized snorkel masks, fins, flotation devices, and a large paddleboard for resting.
How deep is the water?
We stay in shallow, calm waters about 5–12 feet deep near the reef, always within a safe distance.
What if the ocean is rough or weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe, we reschedule or refund your booking.
Will I see turtles and fish?
Most days, yes. Wailea reefs are home to honu (Hawaiian sea turtles) and colorful reef fish.
Do you offer multilingual support?
Yes, we can support English, Hawaiian terms, and basic translation assistance for international guests.
Do I need to know how to swim to use a sea scooter?
Yes, sea scooter tours are only for confident swimmers. The scooters move you faster and deeper than beginner snorkeling.
What kind of marine life will I see?
Depending on the location: Wailea (peaceful reef), Mākena (lava arches, honu), Lahaina (sunken pier with turtles, sharks, coral).
Is it safe to snorkel with sea scooters?
Yes. You’ll receive safety instructions and stay close to your guide. Scooters are lightweight and easy to use.
What gear is included?
Sea scooter, snorkel mask, fins, flotation support, and safety equipment.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We reschedule or relocate the tour to calmer waters for safety.
Is this tour beginner-friendly?
Yes, as long as you’re comfortable in the ocean. Guides assist you and provide all gear.
Are turtle sightings guaranteed?
Turtles (honu) are common in Mākena and Lahaina, but sightings depend on nature. Most tours see multiple turtles.
How do I receive my free photos and videos?
We email you a link within 24 hours so you can download and share them.
How deep is the snorkeling area?
Typically 10–15 feet, with clear visibility and calm conditions.
What if the water conditions are unsafe?
We reschedule or refund the tour to ensure safety.
How is this different from the regular tours?
